Dead air when I answered

KEEP CALLING MY WORK AND CELL. THEY SAY I OWE A LOAN, AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO GO TO COURT. I USUALLY JUST HANG UP, BUT THEY HAVE MY SSN AND OTHER INFO. VERY SCARY.

The caller had asked for me by name so I asked him what can I help you with and still hung up on me.

Whoever this is, PLEASE QUIT CALLING ME!! This number has been calling me every day for two weeks, now, twice a day. I do not know how they got my number. You have to be so careful these days! I answered a few times, and noone was on the other end. I am afraid to call back, because then they might think I am interested in what they are peddling. According to other phone number complaint sites, it is Consumber Credit Group, out of Florida.

Someone called from this number, it was a recording stating my name was picked (but did not address me by name) and I have won a carnival cruise with airfare included. It asks to press one to continue/ accept the package...I did not because I'd just gone through removing charges from my phone that should not have been there and it seemed this was not a credible call (I did not enter a contest). I Googled the number and this found that this number has been reported with conflicting information. Be aware of this.

Wanted my exact location to help with an investigation... very strange.

Starting at 6:42pm on Thursday to 8:46pm on Friday I received 16 phone calls on my cell phone from this number. The calls I did answer no one would say anything nor could I hear any background noise, there was nothing. I end up getting frustrated with this "person" & turned my phone off for almost 2 hours. When I did turn my phone back on I ended up missing 3 calls & 2 texts from one of my tenants at one of my properties trying to get a hold of me because the roof was leaking. Until I just checked who this number belongs to I thought it could of maybe been one of the guys trying to let me know about the roof. Well the roof is fixed & I'm still getting these calls so I know its not one of my tenants. Who the heck is calling me, how did they get my cell number, and how do I get them to leave me alone? Is this something that I need to let the FCC(?) know about so they can contact the owner of this number? Thanks
